Gohan: "Look Pan, I'm going to tell you a story. A story about this ball. A story about an old man, who loved a son. And his love still exists today, long after his death."

I love how Goku so vividly remembers his grandpa even though Gohan died while he was only about 5. You can say it was the HUGE bump on the head that made Goku so loving, but he was raised very lovingly by Gohan and learned so much from him he was able to take care of himself after he was gone. Goku shows the same care to his children, and so on. You can say their bloodline is powerful by genetics, but really its by spirit.
